She started volunteering at adaptive snow-skiing and water-skiing events when she was little due to her parents' involvement and developed a passion for sharing her favorite sports with others. Audra Kolar

Audra graduated from Western Michigan with a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and minor in Social Work.  She began the first part of her career at Lambs Farm in Libertyville, where adults with developmental disabilities live and work.  In that role, she found fulfillment in empowering individuals to grow, build confidence and try new things.  Also, she grew up in Twin Lakes enjoying all types of water and snow activities.  When looking for another way to give back, H2O was an easy choice as it offers many things she enjoys; passion for community & connection, being outside & most importantly helping people.  She feels it only takes a small part of someone to make a huge difference in someone else’s life.

Amber Rangel

I’m a graduate of the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign with a bachelor’s degree in Applied Health Sciences, with a strong interest in improving community health and access to resources. My academic background has shaped my focus on practical, people-centered approaches to well-being.

I currently work as a substitute teacher, where I support students across diverse classrooms and adapt quickly to different learning environments. This role has strengthened my communication skills, flexibility, and ability to connect with individuals from a wide range of backgrounds.

I’m particularly interested in opportunities that address health equity, education, and community support. Through H2O, I’m looking to contribute in meaningful ways while continuing to grow and learn within the nonprofit space.
